Maintenance

The maintenance department diligently maintains the areas and spaces that are used by the staff, principals, teachers and students of the district. Maintenance Services are provided on a contract basis by ABM Industries. High standards for safety, security and cost-effective and cost-efficient protocols are followed carefully. In addition, all maintenance employees undergo training and are required to attend periodic training programs in coordination with the BCSD Risk Management department. Monthly safety inspections take place in all of our schools and buildings as well as on the tools, machinery and vehicles used by maintenance staff.

District staff can login to the intranet to access School Dude to submit work orders. For key requests, login in to the intranet and fill out a key request form through MySchoolBuilding.

Maintenance office hours are 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. If you have an after-hours emergency please call 843-812-5011. For work order, please call 843-322-0711 or fax 843-322-0725.
