Strategic Plan
The Beaufort County Board of Education strategic plan is based on the district’s vision and mission statements, as well a set of core beliefs. It was composed through the collaboration of educators, parents, and community stakeholders. The current plan focuses on student achievement, gifted and talented education, school climate, and teacher/administrator quality.
The Beaufort County School District strategic plan looks at where we are right now, sets goals for where we want to be in the next five years, then determines the best ways to get there. We plot our course accordingly, knowing that we will have to make adjustments made along the way until we reach our goal.
Because the entire community contributed to this process, the Beaufort County School District’s strategic plan reflects our values and aspirations. It also has clearly stated long-range goals and measurable mileposts so that we can focus our work and monitor progress.
