2026 Back-to-School Expo

BLUFFTON, S.C. – The Beaufort County School District, in partnership with presenting sponsor Tanger and other community organizations, will host its annual Back-to-School Expo to help students and families prepare for the upcoming 2026–27 school year.
 
This year’s Expo will kick-off on Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tanger 1, located at 1270 Fording Island Road in Bluffton.
 
The Back-to-School Expo provides a free, family-friendly opportunity to connect with school and community resources ahead of the new academic year. The event brings together the district’s 32 schools, local businesses, civic groups, and community partners, with free shuttle service between Tanger 1 and Tanger 2 where activities will be taking place. 
 
“We are excited to welcome families to a new location this year and grateful to Tanger for serving as our presenting sponsor,” said Chief Student Services Officer Dr. Chad Cox. “This event ensures our students and families have access to the tools, resources, and connections they need for a successful start to the school year.”

Students and families attending the Expo can expect:

• Information booths from Beaufort County School District schools and departments
• Opportunities to connect with community, health, and education partners
• Free school supplies (while supplies last)
• Free boxed lunches (while supplies last)
• Door prizes and giveaways
