disAbilites Resource Fair
The disAbilities Resource Fair, held on March 31, at Beaufort Vocation Rehabilitation, was for families of children with disabilities as well as adults with disabilities. The fair was sponsored by the Beaufort County School District and Beaufort County disAbilities Coalition. Thirty-nine community and state agencies were on-site to share information and answer questions about the services and programs they provide to individuals with disabilities. The fair is an opportunity to gain knowledge and awareness about the resources available within our community.
The disAbilities Resource Fair will be an annual event and plans are in the works for next year, the public is invited.
