Pritchardville Elementary Named 2026 Data Trailblazer

BEAUFORT, S.C. – Beaufort County School District is proud to announce that Pritchardville Elementary School has been recognized by the South Carolina Education Oversight Committee (EOC) as a recipient of the prestigious 2026 Data Trailblazer Award.

Pritchardville Elementary is one of only three schools statewide selected for this recognition, joining Blue Ridge High School in Greenville County and Lugoff-Elgin Middle School in Kershaw County.

The Data Trailblazer Award honors schools that demonstrate excellence in using data to improve student outcomes, helping families better understand student progress, fostering a culture of data-informed decision-making, and prioritizing the privacy and security of student information.

“Data Trailblazer schools exemplify how utilizing student-centered data produces results that boost student achievement,” said EOC Executive Director Dana Yow. “The Education Oversight Committee is pleased to once again recognize schools that have successfully equipped their teachers, parents, and students with information they can understand and use for academic success.”

This statewide recognition highlights Pritchardville Elementary’s commitment to continuous improvement and its innovative approach to using data as a tool for student success. Through collaborative practices, targeted instructional strategies, and meaningful engagement with families, the school has created a culture where data informs decision-making and supports positive outcomes for students.
