Weather Update #4

Beaufort County School District Families and Employees-

As an update to yesterday’s communication, both County and local municipalities have lifted the State of Emergency.

In consultation with Emergency Management, we look forward to starting the school year tomorrow, Friday, August 9.

We understand the flow of traffic in and out of specific neighborhoods has been impeded due to flooding. Please notify your child’s principal directly if you anticipate any difficulties.

We ask that all families of bus riders be mindful of conditions at bus stops. As always on the first day of school, we also ask for your patience as bus drivers may experience some delays.

Again, we look forward to welcoming our educators and students into our school buildings to kick-off the 2024-2025 school year tomorrow morning, Friday, August 9.
