Arts courses enable learners to be creative in their approach to problem solving. The South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Standards for Visual and Performing Arts Proficiency standards are designed to prepare South Carolina learners to meet new challenges in college and career readiness through contextual knowledge, training, and life and career skills that will create a better-prepared workforce for tomorrow.
