Grant Applications
Our mission, through the grants program, is to give teachers and schools the ability to provide innovative learning opportunities above and beyond the standard BCSD curriculum.
We have provided funding for plays and musicals, school and grade wide murals, outdoor fitness stations, STEAM initiatives, science programs, music programs, school-wide gardens, composting initiatives and much more.
Grant applications normally are due near the end of October. The official deadline date will be announced in early fall.
- Innovative Teacher Grant - $750 for an individual teacher. Read the guidelines here.
- School Resource Grant - up to $4,000 for an innovative school-wide program/initiative. Read guidelines here.
- Student Enrichment Grant - up to $500 for registration & project improvement to send a student to the next level of competition (science fair, robotics, Honor band, DECA and HOSA conferences etc.) Read guidelines here.

Induction Teacher Grants
All first-and second-year induction teachers can apply for a $500 grant for classroom materials to help student learning. Grant applications are currently open until February 2, 2024 at noon.
