SCDE School Climate Survey
The South Carolina Department of Education distributes an annual school climate survey through PowerSchool. This captures perceptions of the school’s climate and quality, which has been given to teachers, students, and families in the state for more than 20 years. This indicator applies to elementary, middle, and high schools.
SCDE Parent Climate Survey
K-12 parents can take the survey in Ecollect in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Parents may submit one survey for each student, according to SCDE guidelines. Each survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Please read each statement and choose the best response from the choices given. As you read each statement, please consider the entire year rather than recent or isolated events.
To access the Parent School Climate Survey, login to your PowerSchool Parent Portal and access the survey via the Forms section. Below you will find more detailed directions.
The last day to participate is April 14, 2023.
