CHANGEMAKERS is an innovative magnet program within the Beaufort County School District, designed to inspire students through a globally focused, inquiry-based education. By integrating the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework, dual language immersion, and cutting-edge STEM initiatives like Project Lead The Way, CHANGEMAKERS provides a dynamic learning environment where students develop the critical thinking and real-world skills needed to thrive in an interconnected world.
Grounded in evidence-based research, the CHANGEMAKERS program fosters a multi-disciplinary approach to learning that encourages curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. With an emphasis on global citizenship and digital literacy, students engage in meaningful, hands-on experiences that connect their education to the world around them. Through an assets-based teaching model, every student is empowered to relate their learning to their interests, culture, and future aspirations.
