Applications

We now require parents and/or guardians to create a Beaufort County School District Family Dashboard account in order to submit applications. Navigate to the online applications page on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. If this is your first visit to the Family Dashboard, you must create an account. Click, create account, and follow the prompt to get started. If you already have an account, login with your email address and password.

If you do not have access to the internet, computer, tablet, or smartphone, you may visit any District school to apply, or email our Student Services department.

Applications for School Choice will be available March 1, 2024. The deadline to apply is March 31, 2024.

If your school choice application has been accepted, you will be notified by email by April 15, 2024. If your school choice application was denied, you may appeal. Email Dr. Juliet White, Student Services Officer, at SchoolChoiceRequests@beaufort.k12.sc.us, by May 1, 2024. An appeal decision will be made with 10 business days.

In–School Choice Program is a program offered to students who live in the zone for the school. In-school choice students do not have to fill out a school choice application. 

Out–of–Zone students may apply to a choice program at any school, with the exception of an in–school choice program, as this option is only offered to students who live in the zone for the school. 

There are two schools within the district with no availability for choice because these schools are at or above capacity in terms of overall student enrollment. The two schools are: H. E. McCracken Middle School, and Pritchardville Elementary School.

River Ridge Academy only has limited availability in 7th & 8th Grade Montessori. All other Montessori classes at River Ridge Academy are full and have no availablility for choice.
