District Discipline Policies and Code of Conduct

Beaufort County School District is dedicated to meeting the educational needs of all students in a safe learning environment.

The Progressive Discipline Plan/Student Code of Conduct (including Regulation SS18) provides specific information regarding expectations for students as well as consequences for violations of policies set forth in this document. Policies that include consistent and timely attendance; respect for people and property; appropriate dress; technology usage; student publications; student activities; student records; and, the rights to appeal, including grievance procedures.

Please download the Progressive Discipline Plan/Student Code of Conduct (including Regulation SS18) and discuss consequences of violating the policies with your children. Students and parents are required to sign a statement indicating they have received their Progressive Discipline Plan/Student Code of Conduct (including Regulation SS18) and are aware of the rules.

The success of our school discipline depends on the combined effort among home, school and community.
